Happy Father's Day!

Daddy & Eli
June 17, 2012

Happy FIRST Father's Day to the very best dad that I know!

Ryan and Eli are already best friends.  Eli and I are so lucky to have Ryan!

We celebrated Father's Day in WNY and stopped by Niagara Falls before nice dinner!

The zoo ... with cousin Hannah!

After the exciting visit from the Gallaghers, we had a quick break (about an hour) before Ryan's family came for a visit.  We were so excited because Hannah was coming to go visit the zoo with us and then we were going to a Feis to see her Irish Dancing!

Here are the photos to tell the story!

"What ... is ... going ... on?"

Daddy's having fun!

My favorite.  Looks like Eli is having fun!

My man loves his zoo!

After Daddy took him on a camel, I decided I needed
to take Eli on his first carousel ride!

"I want to eat it!"

So much fun!!

And here's Hannah doing her jig!
She even won 3rd place!!!

The Big Apple with the Gallaghers!

Eli was very excited to have his Gallagher Girls come visit for 3 days at the beginning of June and we were very excited to see Kim & Bill and celebrate Kimmy's 31st birthday (31?  When did we get so old?)

We had an amazing time, doing some fun tourist things in NYC and showing the Gallaghers our city (Bill, Ally and Mckenzie had never been here before!).  I am very impressed by how well all 3 kids did!  What were we thinking, traveling all around the most populated city in the US with a 5-month-old, a 17-month-old and an almost 4-year-old?  They were all great though!  We might be crazy, but we have fun!

Here are LOTS of photos to tell the story of our great trip!

When the Gallaghers arrived, it was early evening and a nice night, so we headed to the Bronx and our favorite Orchard Beach (which also has an awesome playground) ...

(LOVE his expression in this one!
"Mom, why are you always embarrassing me?")

The Wynnes

That night, we went to our favorite little Italian restaurant and gave a quick driving tour (since the Bronx really looks nothing like a beach!).

The next morning, we headed out for a full day of sight-seeing in Manhattan!

We then went on one of those double-decker bus tours!

Ally listening to the tour guide

"Wow, these buildings are big!"

"Wow, NYC is awesome!"

Who doesn't love sitting on the top of a bus?

Our version of Occupy Wall Street

Yum!  Ice cream!

Eli -- don't you know that you're not
allowed to sleep in Zuccotti Park anymore?

The 9/11 memorial was beautiful

After hanging out for a late night on Broadway, we brought the kids home and relaxed.  It was such fun to sit around and have some beers (and read some notes from high school!) while the kids are asleep!

(Whales and mermaids!)
We followed up our exhausting tour of Manhattan ... with another day of touring Manhattan!

Day 2 on the bus!
